The Mac Operating System, Windows and Linux are presently the dominant software used on computers. This section helps you to become proficient on the  MAC OS.

Internet Basics

In Internet Basics you will master what you need to know to navigate the internet with more confidence.

Windows 10

This unit teaches the basics of Windows 10 operating system. The SUSD primarily uses the windows platform, so it is really important that all students know how to use it.

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is a global industry standard in the software world. You will become familiar with its word processing capability and other diverse ways that it can be used. Google Docs also have similar functions that students will learn about.

Microsoft Powerpoint

Microsoft Powerpoint is used for presentations so that people have something visual to help them understand what they are learning. You can use all forms of media such as sound, video and images. Google Slides also have similar functions that students will learn about.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel is spreadsheet software. You will become familiar with its accounting, research and mail merge capability. Google Sheets also have similar functions that students will learn about.
